Training

I trained both at Regents College and the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling primarily as an Existential Psychotherapist and Counsellor.

My counselling qualifications include:

Registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
M.A. in Existential Psychotherapy & Counselling
Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling
Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling
Certificate in the Fundamentals of Psychotherapy & Counselling

I also have specialist training in:

Addictions and Alcohol Dependency
Rape and Sexual Assault
Trauma and Crisis Counselling
Motivational and Solution-Focused Counselling
Group Psychotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I regularly attend Supervision in accordance with UKCP guidelines and I am in ongoing training in other specialist areas.

I subscribe to the Codes of Ethics and Professional Practices of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

I have Clinical Membership status with the Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Associations (UPCA)


Clinical Experience

I have gained extensive clinical experience from both the private and public sector including:

Victim Support -
Counselling victims of crime including victims of rape and sexual assault and domestic violence.

Wimbledon Guild Counsellig Sevice -
Counselling people with a whole array of issues ranging from depression and anxiety to eating disorders, bereavement and childhood abuse.
Assesing new clients and their therapeutic needs.

Equinox -
Counselling clients with alcohol misuse and dependency issues.
Clinical Supervisor for trainee counsellors.
Assessing and allocating clients depending on needs.

NHS -
Counselling clients individually and in groups for problems with addictions.


My growing private practice has been established since 2003.
